1. Independent Operation

Jersey Empire™ is an independent, real-world adventure game operated by Cardoso Events. It is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, licensed by, or associated with Hasbro, Inc., Parker Brothers, or any of their subsidiaries. "MONOPOLY" is a registered trademark of Hasbro, Inc.

2. Participation & Age Policy

• Supervision: All participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a supervising adult (18+) at all times during the event.
• Team Responsibility: The registered team leader accepts full responsibility for the safety and conduct of their team members.
• Physical Safety: This is a real-world game involving walking and public transport. Players participate at their own risk. Cardoso Events is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained while playing.

3. Data Protection (GDPR)

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018.

• Data Collection: We collect your name and email address solely for the purpose of account management and game administration.
• Selfies & Media: By uploading photos to the platform, you grant us consent to display them within your private team gallery and the Banker Console for verification purposes. You retain ownership of your photos.
• Data Deletion: All game data, including uploaded photos and location logs, is deleted or anonymized 30 days after the event conclusion.

4. Game Rules & Conduct

Teams must adhere to the Official Rules and local laws. Trespassing, dangerous behavior, or the use of private vehicles will result in immediate disqualification without refund.

Changed your mind?
We get it, plans change. You can cancel from your Team Dashboard up to 48 hours before your booked session start time, or message us via our support page if you need help.

The Small Print: Our payment provider charges us as soon as a booking is made. For change-of-mind refunds, a 2.5% processing fee is deducted to cover those non-refundable payment costs.

The Alternative: If you prefer, we can issue up to 100% of your original paid amount as Jersey Empire™ Credit for a future game session. Credit is calculated from what you paid for that booking (dynamic pricing safe), not a flat ticket price.

Technical Glitches & Cancellations
If the platform fails (for example app outage, GPS failure, or organiser cancellation), eligible statutory refunds are paid in full to the original payment method and we absorb payment processing costs in those cases.

How to ask for a refund
Request cancellation of your booked event via your Dashboard, or contact us through our Support page. Every request is reviewed personally and we aim to respond within 24 hours.
